We’re excited to bring back Conjugation for Liberation, SVARA’s intro to Talmudic grammar! Together we’ll liberate ourselves from grammar’s obscurity by getting familiar with the Hebrew verb systems (binyanim), prefixes and suffixes, and what different spelling patterns tell us about the meanings of words.
Who is this space for?
This course is designed for folks who feel confident breaking down Hebrew words to their roots and core meanings, and who are looking to get more comfortable with the verb system to enhance their Talmud skills.
Structure:
- Four sessions and regular attendance is expected
- Practice between sessions is encouraged
- Includes breakout spaces
- All learning materials will be provided in an online portal
