Daf Shenati

Daf Shenati (literally, a-Page-a-Year) is SVARA’s radical take on Daf Yomi (literally, a-Page-a-Day)—the century-old global project of learning one page of Talmud a day. But when you’re doing Daf Shenati, it’s not just the teacher who really knows the text. It’s every learner. Over the course of the year, you’ll be learning a full daf of Talmud, in the SVARA Method, to a place of deep ownership of the text.

Learning Circles

Daf Shenati Learning Circles are facilitated by experienced SVARA students who have a desire to bring their community together in a spiritual learning practice. These Learning Circles meet in a format and cadence all their own—some meeting monthly, some weekly, some daily, some online, some in-person—providing folks with an opportunity to go deep in a group setting with guidance, scaffolding, and support.

Chevruta Pathways

Chevruta Pathways will help you bring your existing chevruta relationship into the shared rhythm of this year-long communal project. This entry point into Daf Shenati is best suited for chevruta pairs with prior experience in the SVARA method who are eager to resume their Talmud learning and participate in a transformative communal practice.
