It was a life-affirming infusion of Jewish community, and reminded me I’m allowed to expect and work towards a community that aligns with my values about practice and identity, rather than settle for less… Being at Queer Talmud Camp allowed me to feel free and safe and to share my story with others. I reveled in being a part of the safe, comfortable, and inquisitive community.
