Originally from Boston, Jenna now resides in Chicago with her partner and their dog, Baby Ruth. She is a graduate of Agnes Scott College, Northeastern University School of Law, and SOAS, University of London. Jenna began her career in refugee resettlement and as an AVODAH corps member and program director in New Orleans and Chicago. After law school, Jenna represented detained immigrants in removal proceedings nationwide through her work with RAICES and on the LGBT Team at the National Immigrant Justice Center, and provided support to low-income Boston area immigrants through RIAN. She also loved teaching nature education at summer camps throughout New England. Jenna now works as the Director of Finance and Operations at the Vietnamese Association of Illinois. A renaissance woman, she spends her free time learning to quilt, gardening, and singing on the Davening Team at Mishkan.
