Rabbi SAM was ordained at Hebrew College in 2020, then returned to their hometown of Oakland, California, to work at Kehilla Community Synagogue as Rabbinic Program and Community Builder. They teach talmud with 700 Benches Beit Midrash, keep up with the daf yomi, and are active in Jews On Ohlone Land. As a former circus performer and current parent, Rabbi SAM loves being upside down.
