Communal Loss Adaptation Project

An Emergent Program led by Rabbi Elliot Kukla

At SVARA we give people the tools to shape Jewish tradition in expansive, radical, creative ways. These tools, which are laid out by the Rabbis of the Talmud, can be accessed in our Talmud learning spaces, and then put into practice in a myriad of ways—both on your own, in your local Jewish community, and through SVARA’s emergent programs which create affinity spaces to actively expand Jewish tradition. One of SVARA’s emergent programs is the Communal Loss Adaptation Project, provides a supportive, non-judgmental context with a queer spiritual framing to form empathetic connections among those grieving.
